Frog 67 Lightweight Kids' Bike
The Frog 67 is a 26-inch kid's hybrid bike that is the ideal multi-purpose geared bike, suitable for 10-12-year-olds. This premium bike's lightweight, yet robust aluminium frame weighs just 9.41kg, giving young riders great agility as they conquer roads, pavements, towpaths and forest trails. Equipped with Kenda small block eight tyres ensures maximum stability and grip on any terrain. It also offers full-length mudguards to protect against dirt and splashes and the option to attach a kickstand to the frame to keep the bike upright, and the option to add a pannier rack for hassle-free transportation of school books and sports equipment.The Frog 67 features premium components made specifically for kids to bring ease and comfort to every young rider, including a quick-release child-specific saddle that effortlessly adjusts to provide the perfect riding position. The FrogFit Technology® youth-specific 8-speed gear shifters offer short lever travel, transforming gear changes into seamless transitions, and the Tektro brakes with small, easy-to-reach levers offer greater control and improved confidence. The patented Frog cranks reduce the distance between pedals, providing young adventurers increased pedalling efficiency.
The Frog 67 is designed for longevity and has been optimised for adaptability and to help maximise the lifetime of the bike for a growing child. It boasts a lower bracket position to ensure a safer ergonomically superior riding experience. This well-thought-out design also allows for a greater leg-length range, perfectly accommodating the growth of those ever-lengthening limbs! To further enhance its adaptability, the handlebar height can be effortlessly adjusted with a 40mm range, making it a worthwhile investment that evolves alongside your child.
All new Frog frame
Frog have given their bikes a new lightweight makeover with the Frog 67. In addition to making the frame lighter, the bottom bracket has been lowered so feet can touch the ground easier and the fork steerer tube has been lengthened to give more adjustment at the handlebars.
FrogFit Technology® Cranks
Children's hips are smaller and putting them on a bike with adults size cranks will lead to the feet being further apart that the hips - a very unnatural position to ride in, whilst putting strain on the growing muscles and joints. Research showed the need for a reduction in the hip-pedal triangle so Frog introduced the reduced q-factor in their patented shortened cranks for more efficient pedaling (20% increase of efficiency in the lab).
FrogFit Technology® Shifter
The new FrogFit Technology® Shifter reduces the distance the lever has to travel by 65% over the previous lever, bringing a major improvement to Frog bikes. Smaller children can now shift to lower gears more easily and without looking down, allowing them to focus better on the road ahead and on having fun on the bike!
FrogFit Technology® Brake Levers
Smaller hands have a smaller reach. Frog's ergonomics-led design puts the brake lever closer to the handlebar while allowing for sufficient space for the index finger to reach the gear shifter. Being able to comfortably reach the brake and the gear shifter makes Frog bikes easier to handle and safer for children to ride.UK delivery
If your item is in stock and ordered before 12pm, we will do our best to despatch your order the day you place it. In busy times we tell you how long it will take us to process it.
The above does not apply to bikes, which we have to assemble and inspect before repacking for dispatch. Typically we try to have bike orders dispatched within 3-5 days, but in busier times it may take longer. In those cases we'll let you know of longer than expected delivery times.
Please bear in mind that we are closed on Wednesdays, so no items will be dispatched then.
Free postage over £40
For small items we use Royal Mail's 48 service which has a delivery time of typically 2-3 days from dispatch; though you do have the option to upgrade to 24 which is generally next-day from dispatch if you require your order sooner. Please note in some cases the item will need to be signed for, so please provide an address where someone will be in.
Orders of over £40 will qualify for free standard postage with Royal Mail 48. This may exclude certain bulky or awkward items which will be calculated automatically at the basket screen.
Bike shipping
When we send out a larger parcel such as a bike or trailer we use a next-day courier - usually either DPD or Parcelforce.
For these reasons please supply us with a delivery address where there will be someone in to sign for your parcel. If there is nobody in when the couriers call, they will leave a card. You can then phone them to arrange delivery for another day or collect your goods from your local depot (a photo ID with proof of address will be required).
How will my bike be delivered?
We fully assemble, safety check and inspect every bike as though you were going to ride it away from our showroom.
However, to get it back into a box suitable for a courier to handle, we have to remove the pedals, handlebar and usually the front wheel - so some minor reassembly is required when the bike is delivered to you.
Please bear in mind that you might need a 15mm spanner for the pedals (adult's bikes generally do not come with pedals included, so you may not need to worry about this), and 4mm, 5mm and 6mm allen/hex keys for the reassembly.
Outside the UK
Since Brexit it is no longer feasible for our website to have permanent shipping prices for international delivery. Instead, if there is an item you are interested in, please Contact Us with a full delivery address and we will quote for delivery.
All the prices on our website and catalogue are in pounds sterling and are inclusive of VAT, but VAT will be removed for international orders. Please bear in mind that you will likely have to pay your country's taxes, import duties and associated courier handling fees for any items.
