Cyclesense Covid-19 Information
Saturday 28 March 2020 Filed in: General
Cyclesense is open for business, but we ask all customers to read our guidelines below.
Safeguarding you, ourselves and the wider community
Our utmost priority during the coronavirus epidemic is the safeguarding of ourselves and the public. We take our responsibilities very seriously and we are doing all we can to help prevent the spread of the virus.
With the above in mind our shops are locked to the public. We are not letting people into the shop as we cannot possibly maintain social distancing. Please do not turn up to the shop as usual expecting to be served. We are operating on an appointment only basis. Please take the time to read the following to understand the measures we are taking and how you can shop with us.
Key workers will be given priority. NHS, care, fire, police workers and teachers who need their bikes will be put to the front of the queue, whether it's for workshop use or parts orders. If you are a key worker we will do all we can to support you.
As usual, lead times will vary depending on the product or service. Lead times are longer than usual. We may not always be able to fulfil next-day delivery, for example. The only way to be sure of order lead time is to contact us before ordering.
In the event that we are unable to answer the phone, please email us with any enquiries. Leave a number and we will do our best to contact you as soon as we can by email or telephone. Use the following email addresses for enquiries:
Sales & general enquiries: email@example.com
Workshop, repairs and servicing: firstname.lastname@example.org
Checking stock and ordering
Ordering for home delivery
If an item says "in stock" it is in stock and you can order as usual. If an item says "call or email for availability", please DO NOT order it without checking stock beforehand. As mentioned above, email email@example.com with your enquiry or use the contact form on the product listing. We will let you know when you can expect delivery of these items.
Ordering to collect from store
Our website allows you to choose a "collect in store" option at the basket screen. If you would like to click & collect, please select this option. We will contact you when your order is ready to collect and explain procedure (also outlined below). Please do not come to the shop unless we have contacted you beforehand.
For our local customers
As above, if you know what you want and you'd like to order please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org with what you'd like and we will be in touch to take payment and organise collection.
Collecting an order
After you place an order, we will contact you to arrange a time for collection. You will be asked to call when you arrive so that we can arrange for your item to be handed over in line with social distancing guidelines.
Workshop, servicing & repairs
Our workshop is open. If you would like to book your bike in to be serviced or repaired please email email@example.com and our workshop manager will be in touch to book you into our diary system. As mentioned, key workers will be given priority. There is no walk-in service currently. Please contact us before coming to the shop or we will not be able to serve you.
Thanks for taking the time to read the above. Please stay safe and remember - just email us and we'll help as best we can.
