The woom 3 helps children aged fours years and older to learn how to ride and continuously improve their skills. Their upright position makes it easy for riders to maintain their balance and at the same time keep an eye on everything going on around them. At only 5.4 kg (11.90 lbs), the woom 3 is a real lightweight and therefore the best (and most popular) companion for those first longer rides on two wheels.
woom frame
The superlight aluminium frame is the heart of the bike and ensures a fun and safe riding experience. Thanks to its cleverly designed age-specific geometry, the motto of this bike is: superlight = superfun!
Brake
Kids immediately recognise the important rear brake thanks to the eye-catching green brake lever. This colour code system prevents them from mixing up the brakes and thus increases their safety. The specially designed brake lever is easy to pull with small hands and requires little strength to bring the bike to a safe halt. This, combined with the ergonomically designed grips, makes the process of stopping child's play.
woom stem
The woom stem is the safe and lightweight connection between the handlebars and the headset. The sleek, rounded design, the integrated handlebar clamp and the recessed clamp bolts make it a trusty "knee saver".
woom steering limiter
The woom steering limiter is an important safety feature developed by woom. It prevents the handlebars from overturning, helps children ride straight and therefore reduces the risk of accidents.
woom crank
The crank length and distance between the pedals are ergonomically adapted to fit children's bodies. This results in an optimum stance and very natural movements. Pedalling? A piece of cake!
Chain guard
The closed chain guard not only has an eye-catching stylish design but also boasts a compact and sturdy construction. It offers excellent protection against injuries and dirt. Goodbye oil stains!

The saddle is one of the most important points of contact between the child and the bike. It significantly affects the feeling when riding. That is why woom's saddle is designed to fit the pelvis of children in this age group and give them an upright riding position. Perfect for a unique riding experience!
woom low-resistance tyres
Tyres have a major influence on how a bike rides. That is why for woom's bikes they have chosen tyres that can be used for a broad variety of terrain. Whether you child is riding on tarmac, gravel or dirt, the lightweight tyres will ensure maximum grip in any weather and on any surface, whether your child is riding straight or making turns.

Sizing a child's bike is never as clear cut as just going from an age, height or even an inside leg measurement. There are many other factors to consider such as rider ability, strength and confidence. That's why we always recommend you visit our showroom to try one and receive advice first if possible. That said, the below can be used as a general guide to get an idea of which size you might be looking at. Each measurement should be used as an absolute minimum requirement, with the knowledge that the seatpost always has plenty of upward adjustment. If you think your child falls "between sizes", always go for the smaller size. You can make a bike "bigger" by lengthening the seatpost or moving the handlebars, but you can't make it smaller.
UK delivery
If your item is in stock and ordered before 12pm, we will do our best to despatch your order the day you place it. In busy times we tell you how long it will take us to process it.
The above does not apply to bikes, which we have to assemble and inspect before repacking for dispatch. Typically we try to have bike orders dispatched within 3-5 days, but in busier times it may take longer. In those cases we'll let you know of longer than expected delivery times.
Please bear in mind that we are closed on Wednesdays, so no items will be dispatched then.
Free postage over £40
For small items we use Royal Mail's 48 service which has a delivery time of typically 2-3 days from dispatch; though you do have the option to upgrade to 24 which is generally next-day from dispatch if you require your order sooner. Please note in some cases the item will need to be signed for, so please provide an address where someone will be in.
Orders of over £40 will qualify for free standard postage with Royal Mail 48. This may exclude certain bulky or awkward items which will be calculated automatically at the basket screen.
Bike shipping
When we send out a larger parcel such as a bike or trailer we use a next-day courier - usually either DPD or Parcelforce.
For these reasons please supply us with a delivery address where there will be someone in to sign for your parcel. If there is nobody in when the couriers call, they will leave a card. You can then phone them to arrange delivery for another day or collect your goods from your local depot (a photo ID with proof of address will be required).
How will my bike be delivered?
We fully assemble, safety check and inspect every bike as though you were going to ride it away from our showroom.
However, to get it back into a box suitable for a courier to handle, we have to remove the pedals, handlebar and usually the front wheel - so some minor reassembly is required when the bike is delivered to you.
Please bear in mind that you might need a 15mm spanner for the pedals (adult's bikes generally do not come with pedals included, so you may not need to worry about this), and 4mm, 5mm and 6mm allen/hex keys for the reassembly.
Outside the UK
Since Brexit it is no longer feasible for our website to have permanent shipping prices for international delivery. Instead, if there is an item you are interested in, please Contact Us with a full delivery address and we will quote for delivery.
All the prices on our website and catalogue are in pounds sterling and are inclusive of VAT, but VAT will be removed for international orders. Please bear in mind that you will likely have to pay your country's taxes, import duties and associated courier handling fees for any items.
